I went to Oberlin College in Ohio where I majored in English and I grew up in Brooklyn, New York where I learned how to be a snob about pizza and bagels. I have been blogging personally since 1997 when I was a 15 year old coding my own pages in Notepad. I started my freelance writing career early in 2008 after leaving the glamorous world of health care, where I worked as an administrative assistant and data monkey for the hospital’s administration and transplant department.
